In my love of all things Blues and Roots music, I recently discovered Charlie Parr. Charlie is a great Acoustic Blues slide guitar player and songwriter. He’s influenced by some of the greats like Mississippi John Hurt and Reverend Gary Davis, among many other great Blues artists. His weapon of choice is a National Resonator Guitar and he really makes this guitar sing. His most recent album, Stumpjumper, is really a great Acoustic Blues album. Charlie Parr has several albums out and tours quite a bit so take a listen and enjoy.
