Robert Johnson?

robert-jonhson

Robert Johnson is the most famous of the old Delta Bluesmen. A true legend with a story as good as it gets. It’s said he traveled to the crossroads and struck a deal with the Devil. He sold his soul in exchange for fame and his amazing Delta Blues guitar playing. A myth, a story or even a misinterpreted vision of his song lyrics, there is no doubt that mystery and the supernatural will always go hand in hand with Mr. Johnson. While he left us 29 recordings of his haunting, fantastic music, finding pictures of him has proven to be the true treasure hunt. Up until this picture above was discovered, there were only two known pictures of Robert Johnson. So is this a third? There has been alot of effort to authenticate it and you can read more about here and here. We’ll never know for sure but it is amazing that Robert Johnson is still making news in the 21st century.
